It’s been an interesting week here on the rock. We’ve had copious (though generally low intensity) thunderstorms, which makes for lousy satellite internet and a dwindling supply of doggie drugs. The rumbles are due to hit again in about an hour. But the storms are only a small piece of the canine and other mammalian drama (more on the latter later). Guess who’s frizzle-frazzled this week? Honestly, I’d guess at a minimum most people in the United States, but I can say without equivocation that I AM. And how. There’s the baseline political insanity. Shame on me—I haven’t done a Magpie Moments post in forever! With the release of the Founder audiobook and the Heir ebook and paperback release on the horizon, I figured it was time. What’s that? This will be a quick blog post, and it’s going up a couple of days ahead of time. You may recall me complaining sharing before that maintaining our satellite internet connection is challenging at the best of times.
